State DOTs provide the location limits of highway sections to be used to represent statewide aggregations based on a statistically valid Sample Panel.
The Mid-America contains data for the following States: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.

HPMS compiles data on highway network extent, use, condition, and performance. The system consists of a geospatially-enabled database that is used to generate reports and provides tools for data analysis. Information from HPMS is used by many stakeholders across the US DOT, the Administration, Congress, and the transportation community.

This dataset contains raw Signal Phasing and Timing (SPaT), MAP, and Basic Safety Messages (BSM) data from the "Feasibility Study and Assessment of Communications Approaches for Real-Time Traffic Signal Applications" project in the hexadecimal string and pcap formats. The project characterizes and assesses the feasibility of SPaT messages for infrastructure-based safety applications by comparing messages received through cellular networks with those received through Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC).

This dataset reports the historical National Highway System 50th percentile median speeds for various roadway types, months, and vehicles on US roads.

National Bicycle Network

Volume of taxed special fuel, primarily diesel, but including alternative fuels, reported by the States each month, based on reports from suppliers and distributors. These amounts are reported in various Office of Highway Policy Information (OHPI) products including the longstanding Monthly Motor Fuel Report, and the annual Highway Statistics publications.
